Why, hello there!

Oh. Hi there. Greetings friends. I am simply enjoying a nice hot chocolate in a super fancy mug and some wonderfully comfortable pj's.

Where did I get these wonderful items, you may ask? Why, at my own store!! At reasonable prices! You don't need to be a millionaire to be this fancy!

You forgot the link? Oh, well how convenient for you! I just so happen to have a spare!

There you are. Now you simply have NO excuse for not at least visiting this land of fancy! You can get many wonderful things, like these Christmas cards and this fancy mug! (I'm rather fond of this mug, can't you tell??)

So my dears, I simply have NO idea why a person wouldn't want to acquire some of these items for their home. NO idea whatsoever! And who knows - there still might be a sale going on until the 10th!

Doodles make great starts...

... to pretty nifty drawings, I must say. At least this one did. I'm rather happy with it. This was a doodle from some random piece of paper, scanned in, and re-traced/colored in Photoshop.
This was a pencil sketch a long time ago from Florence. I finally did something with it. It needs more in the background maybe? But whatevs, I like it so far. LiveTraced in Illustrator, cleaned up and colored in Photoshop.

I also attempted to make one of those cool grungie-graphic-photo-type images with all the cool splatter effects and whatnot... well, I mean I guess this is cool buuuut... I dunno. I'll have to work on it. I like it, just not 100% what I was going for... Photoshop for the photo touch-ups and Illustrator for the final and the splatters.

A step-by-step view coloring process

Hi all. I hope anyone who reads this blog that was affected by Hurricane Sandy is ok and safe. I'm currently away from home as my street is full of boats from the local marina. Staten Island is not a good place to be right now. But I guess I'm thankful for being in NJ and have power right now. Someday I'll be able to get home, and I hope others are safe now and get power too.

So I've finally finished something I was working on for a long time. I'm very proud of this one, sooooo I decided to kind of show how the coloring process for this one went, so I just saved JPEGS of each layer as I add it on. I hope you like it as much as I do.

So from the linework to the finished project, this one is kind of a Steampunk drawing. The last one has a Sepia filter over it, which I'm not sure if I like it better with the filter or without, but either way I do love this :) Draw in Photoshop and the background was done in Illustrator.

Tomorrow I've got some more artworks to upload!! Yay!

Fall is here!

Thank goodness it's fall, for whatever reason I'm less inclined to be lazy and to actually be productive.

Right now I'm working on a few things, one of which I will post here :)

I'm also hopefully going to get a store opened up on CafePress soon!  EDIT this has already been accomplished!! Yaaay! And I will be adding things over the course of the next few days! Whew!

Visit my store here!

And I'm also busy working on finally submitting something to Papyrus, I still would LOVE to explore that option. So we'll see how that goes, I might even submit the above and work on a series!

I'm way overdue for an update...

It has been a CRAZY couple of months! So, basically, I've been working - got a job as an Administrative Assistant, but luckily have been able to do some design work!! Yay! Oh, and I redesigned the blog layout, I kind of like it.

Let's not waste any time and delve right in!

Below are some Facebook banners I designed for different Facebook pages:

Some logos I designed for different Departments:

 A flyer I designed:

These designs are all for the same company. I had a lot of fun designing these, and I've done many other designs but am not able to put them up here. So yay! Next post I'll be putting up some other stuff I've been doing on the side :) Let me know what you think of the layout!

Enjoy!

Um, yikes. Let me sum up what's been happening with a cartoon:

Yup. Been kind of sick lately, which is why I disappeared. I also moved back to the States! Woo! That was way back in December (you know we barely have 2 weeks left of Feburary?? CRAZY) I loved Florence, don't get me wrong, but there's something about coming home that is just wonderful and amazing (especially when you're sick...) What have I been doing since I got home? Well, healing, mostly, and that means not a lot of drawing/doodling/designing. Hopefully I will start up again soon, and when I do, I'll be sure to keep you posted! Until then, enjoy.

This is something my sister asked me to draw :) I like how it came out. Though I sadly suck at backgrounds :/
This I did for fun. (characters taken from TF2 - I don't own them, I just found the 'relationship' between Red Spy and Blu Scout's mom to be hilarious :D)
Little penguin is a little late, but he brought a fish!!
